On behalf of STEENS, the development partnership between Stebru and SENS real estate, GROOSMAN has designed the most sustainable, fully electric Foodpark in the Netherlands along the A4 highway.
The four catering pavilions, along with the terrace, are situated around a park-like green area. The unique architecture with wooden facades gives the pavilions a charming appearance. The restaurants are completely gas-free, making them the first fully electric Foodpark in the Netherlands. Solar panels are used to generate their own energy, a Fastned quick charging station encourages sustainable driving practices, and extra attention to public greenery characterizes and distinguishes this catering location in terms of sustainability.

The park is located along the A4 in the Harnaschpolder, at the intersection with the auction route N211. The location, situated in Den Hoorn (Midden-Delfland municipality), borders The Hague, Delft, and Rijswijk. The catchment area of the Foodpark extends beyond just highway visitors, also serving the residents of the surrounding municipalities.
The park, equipped with picnic tables and wooden play equipment, brings together different visitors and makes it a fantastic place for business meetings or dining out with family. Meanwhile, electric cars can be charged with green energy at the Fastned charging station.
