The New York-based unisex brand “OVERCOAT” and the brand “TOKYO DESIGN STUDIO New Balance” by NEW BALANCE have collaborated for the capsule collection. This is the display designed for it.
The feature of the collection is the logically designed pattern.In order to show its well-made quality, I designed the shape of three-dimensions from the flat surface. The key material for this display is the 0.2mm thin paper.They are shaped by folding the pleated box and then stretching it. I adjusted its pleats angles and pitches while scaling up to the actual size from the model study. Then, it stood up in three-dimensions, balancing with gravity.
The paper’s distortions and wrinkles are appear the clothes-like expression.
The hanger stand is made detailless to emphasize the design details of the clothes.
