360˚ rotating hinges

FritsJurgens System 3 pivoting door hinge has three functions: rotation, closing and hold positions. System 3 can turn through 360˚ and is characterized by a hold position at every quarter of a circle.

Movement

Thanks to the innovative design of System 3, the door requires a slight touch to start moving, then it continues to rotate by itself thanks to the patented spring construction.

The spring-loaded door turns from each 45º in both directions and stops in the desired direction. Thanks to precise damping the door comes to rest in the hold position after two movements.

System 3

System 3 pivot hinge is integrated into the lower part of the door. The oval base of the hinge is inserted into the slot in the floor plate.

Top pivot

The top pivot is integrated into the top of the door and uses a so-called pin/hole connection. The pin is fixed to the top pivot and drops into the hole in the ceiling plate when this is turned.

Ceiling plate

A stainless-steel ceiling plate is fitted in the ceiling. The pin of the top pivot fits seamlessly into the hole in the ceiling plate.

Floor plate

A stainless-steel floor plate with an oval recess is fitted to the floor. The base of the hinge fits seamlessly into the recess in the floor plate.
