What were the owner's wishes and expectations for the project, and how were they met?
Moving meant much more than just changing addresses. After their move, the residents acquired a new way of life and a different family dynamic. They had been living between São Paulo and New York for the past few years, but always in apartments. This routine was very tiring and urban. Now, just by being in a place surrounded by greenery and less crowded, the residents can make better use of their time. The couple opted for a townhouse with a garden in a leafy neighborhood close to downtown São Paulo, guaranteeing whistling birds in the morning and a good dose of well-being. The renovation of the space provided better integration with the outdoor space and created environments in shades that match the greenery outside.

What is the inspiration and concept of the project?
The idea was to create a very Brazilian house with a modernist touch. The scrap wood floor was given a matte white finish, which not only enhanced the feeling of space, but also accentuated the furniture. Names such as Claudia Moreira Salles, Jader Almeida and Gustavo Bittencourt make up the mix of leading design in the living room, accompanied by artworks from the couple's collection and pieces from the apartments where they both lived, such as the piano. With noble fabrics and a bit of gold, they warm the furnishings. The result is a welcoming home that left the residents with no desire to go out on weekends. We enjoyed the sauna and the hammock. We welcome friends without complications. We don't have to travel to relax.
