The Stavros Niarchos Foundation selected through an international competition Italian architect Renzo Piano and his firm Renzo Piano Building Workshop for the study and design of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).
The elements for this furniture collection have been designed in close cooperation between SDC_lab and the office of Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Paris.
The intention was to design seating elements that would perfectly combine into different settings. From a single sofa to a cross where people can join and talk to each other.
Starting in 2017, the National Library of Greece successfully completed in 2018 its relocation from the Vallianeio historic neoclassical building in downtown Athens to its new premises at the SNFCC.
