BAKPAK architects | unfolded architecture

BAKPAK is a transnational firm of architects that apply an unfolded perspective in all types of design projects where it is so important to understand the personality of each space, its inhabitants, how to incorporate their own particular identity, their ‘bakpak’. New approaches, solutions, and proposals that gather its past and design a stimulant future, only completed on the experience of those who use and perceive it. The architects of ‘bakpak’ baKpak is a team of architects founded in 2010 by José de la Peña Gómez Millán, José M González Chamorro, Borja Navarro Ibáñez de Aldecoa, José A Pavón González, and Myriam Rego Gómez, with the objective of converting itself into an international firm of reference in architecture. It is a Spanish architectural firm headquartered in Seville with an international network that permits its to work on an international level with collaborating firms located in different countries. baKpak makes references to the international and mobile character of our office, in a globalize context with projects in different countries but also to the accumulation of experiences and knowledge that this type of work gives its architects. In baKpak we are conscious of our own baggage. We approach projects through a deep analysis of the territory, of the understanding of its history, its culture, its projection, and always applying an opened intelligence to unfold possibilities of the future: Listen and incorporate.
