Glulam (Glued Laminated Timber)

Glued laminated timber elements (beams, columns etc) are made from strength-graded, planed, parallel glued wooden lamellas and are characterized by their high load-bearing capacity, excellent dimensional stability, cost-effectiveness, and versatility. The possibility of combining high-quality glued elements in straight and curved constructions as well as special shapes, glulam can span significant distances which in turn allows a freedom of design. The manufactured elements are precisely configured to our individual specifications in the factory using modern CNC machines. The high degree of prefabrication achieved in this way and the flexible dimensions of the elements enable quick, waste free assembly on-site. All our Glued laminated timber is manufactured under strict quality controls and use fully traceable and certified timber sourcing. As timber is both a natural and renewable building material, with excellent carbon sequestration, it provides a truly sustainable and low carbon addition to any project.
