The guiding principle of the architectural language was to craft a unique narrative that would resonate with visitors from the moment of their arrival. Organic shapes and natural materials, such as water and wood, were seamlessly integrated into the design, fostering a harmonious connection with the earth. The deliberate use of these elements aimed to engage the senses, creating an environment where guests could feel a profound connection to nature.
Central to the design is the inviting pool, a focal point that greets visitors upon entering the premises. Crafted with organic lines, it serves as a place of respite and relaxation, featuring shaded spots beneath palm trees and elegant wooden cabanas. The central tipi tent, in addition to serving as a seating area, can host a variety of music events, adding a dynamic dimension to the overall experience. Surrounding the pool, the central bar and restaurant are adorned with a boho-gypsy aesthetic, featuring prominent use of wood, thatch, forged cement , and vibrant fabrics. The resulting contrasts are bold yet soothing to the eye, creating an environment that captivates and relaxes simultaneously. The lush tropical planting further enhances the overall aesthetic, adding a touch of vibrant greenery.
The hotel's collection of guestrooms exudes a sense of freedom and luxury while maintaining the warm embrace of Cretan hospitality. The chic gypset vibe permeates through each room, offering a lavish retreat that resonates with the spirit of the region. Continuing the design language, they mirror the same aesthetic with materials such as wood, thatch, diverse tiles, boho-inspired decor, and tropical plants. The forged cement finishes on the room walls contribute to a grounded and boho ambiance, reinforcing the hotel's commitment to providing a unique and aesthetically pleasing experience for every guest.
The themed roof bar carries a more colorful disposition, adding a playful touch to the overall design. This elevated space offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, creating an unparalleled setting for guests to indulge in a sensory-rich experience. The color palette is reminiscent of peach hues, creating an atmosphere of warmth. The pergolas, strategically placed to cast shadows over seating areas and the restaurant-café, contribute significantly to the overall aesthetic. The interplay of light and shadow, combined with the colorful palette and diverse textures, establishes a harmonious and visually engaging environment.
This harmonious fusion of colors, patterns, and materials elevates the guest experience, creating a space where aesthetics and functionality coalesce seamlessly.
