The vertically expandable INBOXONBOX is a new, free-standing system designed for a Hungarian brand; it consists of five basic elements fitting together without the need of fixtures 90° breaks away from typical shelf constructions: its height is not determined by a static frame, but the number of compartments. Stackable, thus the elements mount up to a shelf through a method of alternate layering. All the angles, of the five basic elements are 90 degrees. The elements can be placed inside one another, thus minimizing space required during transportation.

The five modules allow numerous variations of construction, however do not require a seperate fixture when being stacked.

It is a highly permutational storage system, where position, volume, line, material and colour create different compositions. The stackable storage cubes are ideal for specail spaces as you can build them up for a bookshelf, With a variety of uses and a slim profile it's the perfect multi-tasking piece of furniture. These versatile storage cubes are designed exclusively for INBOXONBOX. The materials are pinewood, beech, oak, maple, MDF. Basic sizes: I. 80x40x30 cm II. 50x40x30 cm The design strategy is based on the characteristics and heritage of other decisive products’ design, vision and values formed by human aesthetics. The functional design’s goal is to achieve a form of design, minimizing environmentally destructive impacts, and maximizing positive valued impacts by integrating itself with design processes.
