Many people are bored of furniture on the high street and are looking for something that is different, is special and has the feel good factor. Little Tree Furniture’s new Mary Rose collection delivers on all fronts offering a stylish, eco-friendly and ethical alternative to mass produced and identical furniture.
In line with the company’s ethos for ‘woodworking with a conscience’, the Mary Rose collection is handmade by craftsmen in India using reclaimed materials. Rescued from old boat timber that is up to 150 years old, Little Tree Furniture gives new life to this incredibly strong and durable hardwood that would have been discarded. The wood’s former use gives the Mary Rose furniture a beautiful patina and it’s heavily textured surface ensures every piece is unique. The furniture radiates a real sense of history and its presence creates a talking point in any room.
The Mary Rose collection is made up of 26 standard pieces ranging from chests of drawers and side tables, to bookcases and TV units. Each piece in the stylish collection has been designed by Neil Buckley-Jensen the founder of Little Tree Furniture and is handmade by craftsmen in India.
