Resin trap filter (wedge wire resin trap screen) are essential protection devices for water treatment systems. Bluslot provides resin trap strainer for water lines to prevent complete loss of ion exchange resin, activated carbon media, filter media, green sand media, sand and multimedia from underdrains, lateral or filter failures.

Resin traps stop escaping media at the onset of failure. Visual monitoring will alert operators to drain, side or filter damage before catastrophic failure and massive media loss. An unmonitored resin trap filter nozzle will collect the ion exchanger or media in the resin trap until the water flow is completely blocked. However, downstream products, processes, equipment and/or pumps are still protected from damage and contamination.

Protect your downstream products, processes, equipment and/or pumps from damage and contamination. Eliminate large resin/media losses into piping distribution systems Prevent resin losses during backwashing Visually detect small resin/media losses before catastrophic failure of major equipment.
