Embodied carbon

Design decisions were made with care toward quality and longevity. Natural materials such as wood and stone were selected for their durability and sensory richness, contributing to a calm and grounded atmosphere. Many elements were custom-made in collaboration with local craftsmen, allowing for unique expression while supporting regional production. Where possible the project design avoided the use of plastics and other petroleum-based products.

Operational Emissions / Energy

The architecture maximizes access to natural light and promotes passive airflow, reducing the dependence on mechanical systems for comfort. Custom window frames act as both sculptural elements and functional openings that frame the garden, provide shade, and create a seamless indoor-outdoor connection.
