The house was designed with all circulation and transitional spaces open to the outdoors, minimizing the need for air conditioning. Functional areas are strategically positioned according to wind patterns and solar orientation to further cut cooling and electricity demands. Additionally, a solar panel system powers the home during daytime hours.
