In the Danish village of Holstebro, Europe’s largest 3D-printed housing community has been completed. Designed by SAGA Space Architects, Skovsporet—Danish for “forest track”—provides student housing built using low-carbon concrete and COBOD’s BOD3 mobile construction printer, developed for residential projects. The automated construction process demonstrates how 3D printing can accelerate housing delivery, while innovative low-carbon materials can help reduce the environmental impact of construction.
