A hair salon inspired by the simplicity of a Japanese garden The inspiration behind the creative concept for the interior of the Kanso hair salon was a Japanese garden. The Japanese garden, just like Kanso, is a space defined by simple lines and natural materials, the result of years of tradition and skilful performance, a place where people come either to enjoy its aesthetics or to simply relax and contemplate. Just like the Japanese garden, our hair salon is also divided into different zones, into several spaces with different functions. The project is located in the eastern foot of Mogan, Deqing City, and is born between five original valleys. The site retains the existing farmland texture and the long valley view corridor, which is characterized by the original rice field hometown, and creates the field flavor of crisscross paths in the valleys. This is also the location of agricultural museum, which is a window to enrich and integrate the historical and cultural connotation of farming. The monumental complex housing Gallerie dell’Accademia includes the church and monastery of Santa Maria della Carità and the same-named Scuola Grande. From Palladio and Selva to Carlo Scarpa, great architects have worked here ever since its foundation in the thirteenth century, up to the Napoleonic edict – when it was transformed into the Academy of Fine Arts with annexed Galleries - until the recent expansion of the exhibition spaces by the authorities.
