Having previously worked with MinterEllison on their Melbourne workplace redesign in 2020, a smooth and efficient approvals process was achieved throughout the project duration. Adelaide Oval

Visitors to the recently redeveloped Adelaide Oval – one of Australia’s most iconic sports venues – are now greeted by a dramatic, cantilevered curved form over the main entrance, created from over 4,000 individual panels of Nordic Bronze from Aurubis, part of the world’s leading integrated copper group and largest copper recycler. The redevelopment involves new south and east stands, related to the previously redeveloped western grandstand. It provides 50,000 spectator seats and ancillary facilities for cricket and Australian Rules football, as well as other sports and entertainment. Adelaide may be known for churches, wine, and the Crows, but a lofty city skyline is definitely not one of the recognisable features of this mini-metropolis. Elenberg Fraser is here to change all that with our new mixed-use building on Austin Street in Adelaide’s CBD. This 40 storey tower is set to puncture the stratosphere of Adelaide’s built environment; its 132 metre height making it the tallest residential building in the city. A thoughtfully folded, glowing gold lantern rising above the mass of historic buildings at its base.
