All glas stairs; siller stairs; glass staircase;

The Kistefos Museum is a project of BIG Architects. The architect approached Siller with the wish to create a fan shapped all glass staircase which has a span of 13m width and has on the up- and down side a contious glass surface. The task was particularly challenging because they did not want to see any shaddows of potential steel beams to support the staircase. As you can see from the final images we have been able to come with a solution which was more than pleasing for the architect.  More

This is a single story side & rear extension, achieving the increase the size of the property and bring natural light in the kitchen. The impact on the current structure will be kept to a minimum and the project will also seek to balance out the communal and private spaces within the property.By opening up to the garden with a sensitive approach of appropriate scale and minimal architectural language, the local character of the area will be maintained and reinforced.
