Notre Dame de l'Assomption church in Le Teil was heavily damaged by the earthquake in November 2019. Restoring it would appear to be a risky and costly business. It was therefore agreed by the Town Council that it would be demolished and rebuilt nearby. An architectural competition was launched in the first half of 2023. Today we would like to propose a different vision for the future of Place Jean Macé, outside the official competition.
