Centraal Station Dwarstunnel
Ceramic Mosa tiles were used in the central hall and in the west and east wings of the Cuypers building, in the tunnels (including the Middentunnel), and on the custom-designed stairs that lead to the platforms. The comprehensive Mosa solution is characterized by the custom design by Merk X and also by the size of the tiles (16 x 48 inch and 40 x 40 inch), the unique micro-relief tiles that provide high-grip and low maintenance, the guidance system for the blind and visually impaired, and the weathered ochre and grey colors. The Mosa tiles were used on a surface area of more than 161,464 sqf .

Amsterdam’s Westbeat a sculptural connector designed by Studioninedots
Designed by Studioninedots, Westbeat forms a new sculptural link within the public space network of Amsterdam. Standing 8.5 meters in height and with a footprint of 65 x 50 meters, the building is designed with 86 arches that accommodate a core of ‘super space’ for diverse uses.

The variation in arch shapes and height create differentiation in floor levels and a variety of welcoming social spaces that range from more open to more intimate. These arches also provide a visual and structural transition between the wide spans of the basement carpark and the 150 dwellings in the upper superstructure.
