Located on a compact 19 × 60 ft north-facing plot in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, India, the house is surrounded by built mass on three sides, leaving minimal opportunity for lateral openings. The site lies within a dense residential fabric where privacy, limited frontage, and restricted cross-ventilation define the primary spatial constraints. At the same time, the region experiences prolonged periods of intense heat, with summer temperatures reaching up to 49°C.

Amidst the luscious, native, evergreen coconut plantation lies the site for a private residence in the outskirts of Bengaluru. The 60ftx95ft elongated site demands the design to revolve around the natural elements rather than maneuvering nature itself. Additionally, two road approaches one on the east end and the other from the west created front and back access points inevitably. Therefore the design was approached keeping two exposed facades in mind and to retain the relationship between the built and the un-built.
