The architecture of most industrial factories is often rigid, monotonous, and designed solely for work, typically lacking in quality by overlooking the living conditions of the personnel. However, since employees spend a significant amount of time in the workspace, it is essential to consider factors that influence their sense of satisfaction and comfort. Studies have shown that the work environment impacts employee satisfaction, attachment to the workplace, performance, efficiency, and ultimately, the productivity of the factory. Overview: The interior design for the Rost Exhibition began in 2023. The project is located on the ground floor of an apartment in one of Shiraz's streets in Iran. Initially designed as a residential unit, the conversion to a commercial space presented several infrastructural challenges, including utility issues, low ceiling height, and conflicts with the residential entrances. Pain and suffering are fundamental concepts in philosophy, art, psychology, religions, and so on, and they are an inseparable part of human identity, which some refer to as holy suffering. A person who endures pain steps out of their safe zone and experiences different conditions. These new conditions may become the basis for that person's change, effort, and growth. Factory office spaces are typically under the heavy influence of the factory itself and become a part the factory, in the case of prefabricated buildings, they sit adjacent to other spaces, often lacking a distinct identity. The primary challenge in this project was determining how to design a factory's office building so that it not only possesses its own unique identity but also serves as a representative symbol of the factory's design. The project is located at the western entrance of Shiraz, with the building's extension running along the main boulevard. Our primary concern was how pedestrians on the lower level and riders on the upper level would engage with the building's design. With the ground floor serving a commercial purpose and the upper floors designated for residential use, our strategy focused on designing the building's base to have a neutral appearance in both shape and color, ensuring a harmonious interaction with pedestrians and passers-by. Downwind Residential Apartment  Form in relation to the site context and alley landscape: This project is located adjacent to predominantly one-story buildings. Since the project must be a three-story building, to maintain the continuity of the neighbors, the project created form flection and depression to align the form with the skyline. That means the first and second floors are expanded laterally and appear as an independent volume. The ground floor maintains the adjacent building connection and continuity in a surface shape. The project was designed and constructed on Qasr o Dasht Street in Shiraz, Iran. This street is known as a green and pleasant neighborhood due to its proximity to Qasr al-Dasht gardens. Due to the increase of construction in these old green areas, a significant portion of the vegetation has been destroyed. In the northwest of the building, there is an alley with a 6 meters width, which is the only access of the project to the neighborhood. This only access hinders the visibility of the project. Café Gooshe is located at one of the corners of a cultural complex corridor with no view of the exterior space.  Navid Atrvash After a few meetings with the complex owner, who is a big advocate of music and theater, we have defined the project question: How can we create a pleasant and private space for artists while also creating an interaction between inside and outside of the café.
