Zomorrod 11: Bricks on The Move
A stack of four cubes, Zomorrod 11 stands firmly at the heart of a traffic junction in Tehran. The design has incorporated the use of geometric brick pattern modules following a strategy by which the exterior façade of the building stretches inside and forms many elements of the interior; from the lowest parking level at -5 through to the top.

The one-way street it overlooks on the south elevation connects two of Tehran's main north-south arteries, therefore the nature of the site's impact on the passer-by is affected by speed and haste. DOUBLE STICK
This single-family residence that sits atop an existing flat pad features a façade held in place by a high-performance two-sided architectural panel tape. The owner of the home was an executive of 3M, which is where this tape was developed and to our knowledge is the first application for a residential home.The house sits within an existing development with rules restricting development to the current flat pad and limiting height to 14 feet above grade. The single story house is a rational arrangement of equal bays with private and public functions on either side of two courts that create a swath of light, water and space through the middle of the building. KL Sports City
Populous and Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB) worked together a shared vision for the first stage of KL Sports City.
The catalyst for the project was this year’s Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, Kuala Lumpur 2017, an important opportunity to return Malaysia to the world sporting stage.
Originally opened for the 1998 Commonwealth Games, the brief called for the transformation from design to completion within 18 months; providing four ‘new’ world-class venues to stage major events and recreation facilities for the Malaysian community year-round.
