Close by Giardini Margherita, in a great value building, our work has involved an apartment resulted by a fractionation with the scope of a new  layout for the resulting spatial configuration. On the same floor, in the past, a dwelling and a dental clinic coexisted covering 300 sqm. The entire laboratory and part of the dwelling, previoulsy totally inhabitated by the mum of the client, have became the new home of a young couple. Located in Espai Serrahima, a hub for artistic and cultural companies, this former industrial building has been renovated to serve as a contemporary workspace. The building was originally a textile factory, with a concrete-and-steel addition constructed in the 1970s, giving the complex an eclectic character within Barcelona. Over the years, the space was repeatedly transformed, accommodating uses ranging from parking and warehousing to a culinary research center before its conversion into office space.
