With an atypical entry and a deeply setback main dwelling, the project reinterprets traditional Queensland housing for contemporary living, showcasing flexible accommodation and high levels of privacy. Weekend House

The project of the house in Colares stared with a topographical research in mind, finding the most dramatic cliff between Cascais and Cabo da Roca, for a weekend house, on the west coast of Portugal, at the closest point to the Americas on European land. The site is located in the Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais, just between the famous Lighthouse of Cabo da Roca and the nearby Santuário da Peninha, it is part of a territory which is constellated by windmills and local production of wine. Located on a beautiful waterfront property, this new-build 2,100 sf beach house will be a much needed retreat for the city-dwelling clients. A rooftop terrace provides sweeping views of the sandy beachfront, while a projected two-storey volume provides privacy to the deck at grade. The material palette takes cues from the surrounding nature implementing driftwood-grey tones for the wood cladding and neutral shades for the interior finishes. More

Archilovers Best Project winner. Casa dos Abraços is situated in the fishing village of Ferragudo, Algarve, Southern Portugal. The historic centre of Ferragudo is an extremely sensitive area to work and we believe that our intervention should be balanced harmonious and above all integrated with the surrounding architecture. The plot is embraced by an alley. The studio decided to explore the concept following this movement. The exterior walls of the building follow the irregular shape of the alley as a consequence of the embracing gesture. Modern Beach House Design

As an expression of calmness and relaxation, CAS designed this Modern Beach House Design in Abu Dhabi, UAE in cool modern & minimalist lines. With a boundary wall on three sides, the low-height profile of the home is complemented with a stunning landscape that includes mango, coconut, almonds, & date trees. There are 3 small houses, a larger guest house, & even a kitchen structure on the rear side. Every space captures the great outdoor views & enhances them with active landscape interventions. More
