Punta Mayia

Located in Zicatela, Oaxaca, on the southwest coast of Mexico, within the conurbation of Puerto Escondido, this building stood in a place of high tourist demand and was ideal for recreation. With a population of 45,000 inhabitants, this city stood out for its recreational and surfing beaches, its gastronomy, its orography, its vernacular architecture, and its bohemian charm. Weekend House

The project of the house in Colares stared with a topographical research in mind, finding the most dramatic cliff between Cascais and Cabo da Roca, for a weekend house, on the west coast of Portugal, at the closest point to the Americas on European land. The site is located in the Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais, just between the famous Lighthouse of Cabo da Roca and the nearby Santuário da Peninha, it is part of a territory which is constellated by windmills and local production of wine. This summer house is located on a parcel of 20 x 50 meters in corner in the seaside resort of Carilo, Pinamar party.The needs program consisted of a suite on the upper floor to operate independently, and two bedrooms on the ground floor for children and friends of the owners, with special emphasis on the flexibility of use of public spaces covered (dining room - kitchen) and discovered (central patio and gallery) and its relationship with outdoor spaces, an old pine very important to maintain, and that it has the minimum maintenance. A spectacular coastal site called for a complementary beach house to integrate with the landscape and take advantage of ocean, light and views: striking the perfect balance between prospect and refuge. Located on Central Queensland's 'Discovery Coast', Springs Beach House harnesses the incredible views of the Coral Sea and across the cresting waves towards the headland at Seventeen Seventy, the site where Captain James Cook first landed in Queensland in 1770. LPVM House

The site is located in Guaecá Beach, São Sebastião, in the north coast of the State of São Paulo, Brazil. The site is surrounded by the mountains of Serra do Mar and the dramatic green of Mata Atlântica rain forest. According to protection laws 60% of the trees were maintained in site. The programs asked for a house with 5 bedrooms, dining, tv and living rooms, as well as kitchen, barbecue and service areas. The project distributes the program in two floors, plus a half underground for the garage and sauna bath. The upper floor contains 4 bedrooms and the tv room while the social areas and the 5th bedroom are in the main floor. Chacala House

The project was a rest house which includes the social areas and master bedroom on the ground floor overlooking the sea, four bedrooms to accommodate a family in each, and service areas. A huge fig tree, a palm tree and visual openings to the sea were the conditioning for the house. The palm serves to confine a courtyard entrance where vegetation dialogues with the apparent structure, they welcome and announce what will be the theme of the whole house: a grid of columns and beams like an skeleton that modulate, order, delimit and qualify the different spaces. The main enclosure conforms a palapa that houses open living and dining room, adjoining a pool that serves the auction house, which dilutes its border with the ocean horizon... More
