Clement Conservation Rooflights
The Clement Conservation Rooflight was designed with traditional properties in mind. A modern reproduction of a Victorian original, our rooflights are regularly specified by Architects and Conservation Officers for Listed Buildings and heritage projects, because of their good looks and great performance.
We are delighted that our heritage rooflights have achieved a BFRC Window Energy Rating of A+. Clement is the only company to offer two profiles, one for thicker roofing types such as pantiles and the other for thinner materials like slate, ensuring that the rooflight will lie flush with the roof, achieving an even, level finish.

Mill Hide
Architect Tim Poulson was the first to be granted planning consent by South Cambridgeshire District Council’s planning committee in 2019 for his personal Paragraph 79 home constructed in the period of May 2022 to August 2023. The single sculptural form was inspired by Palladio’s Villa Rotunda containing dwelling and piazza and ancillary spaces housing an array of photo voltaics and ground source heat pumps in a rectangular perimeter enclosure measuring 42 metres by 22 metres with the central court in the dwelling flooded with natural light by an impressive 20m2 bespoke sliding lantern rooflight orientated to Cardinal points of the compass allowing sunlight to fall on all four elevations through the diurnal rhythm.

The Mill House
The Mill House is a Grade II listed property located in Shalford village Conservation Area. The house is set within a generous 6-acre plot with stunning views adjacent to ‘Shalford Mill’, an 18th Century watermill with Grade II * listing.
The Client’s brief was to extend and remodel the house at ground floor to provide a light filled kitchen dining area that would open out to maximize the potential of the beautiful garden.
The design concept is based on a sketch of the house circa 1836 that shows a cluster of pitched roof forms which have been removed over time. The footprint of the extension is located on the original foundations of these previous structures and reinstates the historic courtyard.
