Solstex® Solar Facade System
Solstex® is a Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) facade system that enables architects to incorporate large-format solar panels directly into a building's exterior wall. Each North American code-compliant O-Series panel generates up to 16.5 W/sq.ft. — reducing fossil fuel dependence, earning up to five LEED credits, and generating savings that cover installation costs within 10–12 years. Panels feature crystalline silicon technology encapsulated between two sheets of heat-strengthened glass, available in a range of colours through Onyx solar glass. De Haan Group
BIPV Projects, a company based in Waalwijk (The Netherlands) has delivered two large solar facades at De Haan Group in Waalwijk, covering a total area of 1,155 m². The solar energy facades at De Haan Group have been put into production and are SCIOS Scope 12 (safety) compliant.
