ILLUMINATED MESH – Technolit GmbH

The new building extension of Technolit GmbH, the welding and workshop expert in the hessian Town Großenlüder, received a façade cladding with HAVER Architectural Mesh to visual enhance the optical appearance of the external staircase. Due to the fact, that the staircase should be used as a recreation area for the staff as well, the architects Staubach + Partner searched for a façade cladding that is on the one hand visually appealing and on the other hand ensures optimum air circulation. Qatar National Convention Centre – Interior wall

The large Internal Art Wall of the Qatar National Convention Centre in Doha consists of two walls, both of which are covered on one side with stainless steel mesh type MULTI-BARRETTE 8123. The wall claddings consist of canted meshes which are glued onto stainless steel coloured aluminium frames. The wire mesh frames with integrated insulation were specially designed by Haver & Boecker for the underlying air conditioning. Specifications of the type MULTI-BARRETTE are made from solid rods and flexible cable clusters. The rods give stability to the mesh, the cables flexibility enabling very narrow radii. Facings with MULTI-BARRETTE create a light, transparent skin. Holland Park School

With the brief to create a building that neither looked nor felt like a school, Aedas Architects designed the high profile school in west London where 1,500 pupils can be taught in a very modern and flexible teaching environment.The six-storey school building with its unusual façade, is wrapped with an undulating skin of bronze and copper fins that extend along its western façade and over the roof to engulf the building.
