South America’s first bioactive facade functions as a ‘forest in the city’
To actively combat air pollution in Chile’s capital city, architect Ricard Stein clad the façade of the new Hotel Nodo with Laminam bioactive panels as part of a design that not only iconographically represents a forest inside a city, but also functions as a forest by purifying the air.
