Stepped Loft
Andre Kong Studio has extended a Victorian terraced house in southeast London by extruding a series of stepped brick volumes hosting a new bedroom, study and bathroom.

LOUVER FLAT
Within a newly developed area of Taipei City, ever more concrete jungles are created in the neighborhood. Residential towers built right next to each other lead to certain discomfort for flat owners. We aimed to bring craftsmanship and carefully executed interventions to tackle this issue for an airy and refreshing atmosphere with desired natural lighting quality and improvement of ventilation as well as optimized layout of private and shared spaces for the family members. The apartment has continuous window openings on Southwest side of the building.

PINK HOUSE
In the Atlantic island of São Miguel, in the Azores, an old stable from the beginning of the 20th century was converted into two guesthouses where history and contemporaneity coexist in balance.
The design's main goal was to keep the construction's character, lines, and its rural atmosphere, while adapting the enclosed structure to a completely new typology and contemporary regulations. New openings where carefully shredded in the colored façades, as well as on the stone wall, and a new volume was added to the main construction, allowing for a second, smaller house to appear integrated in the whole.
