Alcoutins House

This residence is located on a sloped plot within a golf course, with a seven meter level difference that shapes its spatial organization. The main entrance is at the upper level, while the lowest floor houses the parking and technical areas with direct access to the green. Private areas are positioned on the intermediate level. Chicago Sunset

CHICAGO SUNSET is an apartment in the same-name residential complex with a panoramic view of the city. Particular attention was paid to details, a vintage workbench and monstrously beautiful sunsets. On the verge of brutality and elegancy – that’s how we can characterize the spirit of the project. CR APARTMENT | Lisbon | 2020

When intervening in a space such as this apartment, one should not interfere with the existing architecture. More than to propose, it was necessary to omit, to refurbish and integrate. It was essential to intervene in this apartment in the most clean and silent manner to better respond to its new needs.   The building where this apartment is placed was originally designed as an Hotel Particulier. The apartment occupies the entire 1st floor, which was originally dedicated to the social areas – namely 11 parlours, one of which was used as a bathroom.
