CABAÑA EN EL DELTA DE BUENOS AIRES, PALITOS CASO 5
At the untamed confluence of the Paraná and Uruguay Rivers, where waters flow into the vast Río de la Plata, a singular commission is situated. The landscape, a symphony of wetlands and scattered jungle green, evokes the unknown—a primal nature accessible only by river, constantly threatened by rising water levels. Here, architecture does not seek to disappear, but to assert itself; not to go unnoticed, but to engage with the organic power of the place.

A stilt system is chosen, an ancestral solution proven by humanity in similar environments, yet here reinvented as a tectonic statement. This matrix of industriali... More

Casa La Pista
Nestled within the serene expanse of northern Greater Buenos Aires, an 800m² plot in a private residential enclave presents a defining singularity: its adjacency to only one neighbour along one of its longer flanks. This exceptional condition sculpts a dwelling with two principal facades, deliberately exposed with clarity to both the street and a vast adjacent green space, establishing an immediate dialogue with its surroundings.

The project's essence is articulated through a programmatic fragmentation into three pure volumes, forms of simple and precise operations. Two lateral volumes, one dedicated to the children's realm and the other to the parents', frame a third central volume, conceived as th... More

CABAÑA EN EL DELTA DE BUENOS AIRES, BOU CASO 2
At the heart of the Paraná River Delta, in Buenos Aires province, a singular presence emerges: The Black Box. This sanctuary is set within a landscape of vast, fluctuating wetlands, where lush vegetation, towards the rear, opens to expansive, serene vistas. It is within this atmosphere, nestled amongst dense tree cover and in proximity to the access canal, that the architecture subtly asserts itself, revealing a journey that transforms initial monumentality into a discovered intimacy.

Casa Favaloro
The commission was requested by a couple with a high profile on social media, and the site for its construction was a sunny plot overlooking an artificial lake with four willows along the shore, located in a private neighbourhood in the suburban area of Greater Buenos Aires.

Upon arrival from the street, the sole access point, a tectonic object is perceived, resulting from operations of clean and abstract prisms, not recognisable with the scales of domestic typologies commonly used in the area. A priori, an impenetrable intimacy. Intimacy is not merely a private space or a personal secret, but an effect of language that presupposes an implicit community. This signifies... More

Casa en Delta
The house is situated in one of the most rugged areas on the outskirts of Argentina's most densely populated urban centre, the Buenos Aires Delta. This initial juxtaposition defines the site: an access canal lies at the front of the plot, while an endless, humid willow forest stretches behind.
The ground continually shifts between water and land, creating a dynamic terrain. Galgo Case 1 by BRUTO STUDIO responds to these conditions by positioning the house lengthwise, capturing the dual landscape, and maintaining a continuous relationship with the ever-changing environment.
