Casa Milanese

The inversion of the traditional organization of a duplex is one of the main themes of Casa Milanese, a two-level apartment located between Arco della Pace and Corso Sempione, in Milan. Rather than placing the spaces of collective life on the lower level and the more private areas above, we chose to overturn the usual organization of the home: the upper floor is entirely dedicated to communal life, light and views, while the lower level accommodates the bedrooms and the more intimate and private spaces. Villa Cinzia

A large window onto the sea is the theme of this vacation home, a villa nestled within the landscape of the Gulf of Tigullio, at the foot of Mount Portofino.Our studio handled the architectural design, the interior design, and the furniture design, working in our characteristic way - simultaneously across different scales of the project, weaving them together in a continuous back-and-forth process, zooming in and out. CASA ACERBIS

"Typological hybridization" is the theme that characterizes this project, which on one hand, completes the historical building curtain of the street on the square, reinterpreting the traditional elements of the typical architecture of the historic center of Albino, while on the other hand, it transforms into a villa with a garden on the inner courtyard.
