Queen's Business School Student Hub

In Belfast’s leafy Queen’s Quarter, TODD Architects has designed a new Student Hub and learning space. Part of Queen’s University Belfast’s wider Business School campus in south Belfast, the innovative and future-focused facility responds to the changing needs of an ever-growing postgraduate student body. A low-energy, ecological, and sustainable design approach was prioritised from the outset, resulting in the Student Hub achieving a BREEAM Excellent standard. Office of Political Innovation takes a playful and irreverent design approach to design for children

On the outskirts of Madrid in Encinar de los Reyes, Reggio School by the Office of Political Innovation is a bold and whimsical school that stimulates the imagination with elements such as cork walls, concrete arches, eccentric roofs, and round windows. The six-story pilot project for the Reggio Center for Pedagogical Research and Innovation is modeled on the Italian education model established in the 1940s by Loris Malaguzzi that encourages child-led forms of learning. IUA develop a dynamic series of passageways and bridges for a new business school in response to the specific climate of a Mexico site

Located in the northern part of Mérida (Mexico), The School of Business and Banking (EBC) by Ignacio Urquiza Arquitectos (IUA) is part of a new campus providing educational services to a growing area of the city. Courtesy Of Ignacio Urquiza Clad with chukum stucco, a traditional local material, the solid and weighty building takes into account three specific factors: the local climate, the program, and the specifics of the site. The local climate is characterized by heat, humidity, and high temperatures under direct sun. In response, the south, east and west walls are primarily closed and solid, while the northern elevation remains mainly open to provide a consistent natural light source.
