Fulldraw Winery

Fulldraw Vineyard is located in the heart of the California Central Coast wine country’s Templeton Gap with its new winery sitting sentry to 100 acres of established vineyards.  Working intimately with the winemaking team, Phase 1 of the new facility includes a Fermentation Building with covered Crush Porch, administrative and employee spaces and a Barrel Aging and Case Goods Storage building. Copia Vineyards

Establishing itself as the bedrock central to Copia Vineyards’ 50-acre estate, this new production winery and tasting room facility is located among the scenic hills of the Willow Creek District on the western side of Paso Robles, California. The combination of calcareous soil and steep slopes make for ideal growing conditions to produce premium, well-balanced Rhone varietals. The building responds directly to hillside terroir, the climatic influences of the sun and prevailing breezes enjoyed by the Central Coast. A simple layout facilitates the production of small-lot, Rhone-style blends of up to 3,000-5,000 cases annually. Cayucos Ridge Barn

Flanking 30 acres of Syrah vineyard along the Santa Lucia Range this simple wood-skinned barn houses vineyard farming equipment, grape picking bins, tool storage and an open-air workshop area. An off the grid structure, roof mounted crystalline PV modules recharge a battery bank located in the barn. The vineyard manager and occasional guests experience the Coastal Live Oak filled woods to the east and the vineyard on the west.  Materials are selected for their simple elegance and long-term durability. Ebonized cedar siding and weathering steel clad the building skin. Interior spaces are paneled with raw plywood and are contrasted with painted cabinetry. More

Winery Cased Goods and Admin Building

Adjacent to award-winning Winery and Tasting Room structures that maintain the spirit of buildings that are subservient to the landscape, the new Cased Goods and Administrative building expands on the village concept at a historic winery along California’s Central Coast. Situated to the north of the recently completed Tasting and Hospitality Building, the Cased Goods warehouse stores 40,000 cases and nestles itself into the base of the hill, while admin and hospitality storage program flank the length of the building. Wine Library

Located 12 miles from the Pacific Ocean along California’s Central Coast, is the home for a new Wine Library to join the award-winning winery and tasting room structures that maintain the spirit of agrarian structures that are subservient to the landscape. Stealthily positioned to the south of the recently completed Tasting and Hospitality Building, the cut-and-cover storage program buries itself below a vegetated roof of native grasses to seamlessly blend into the bank of the hill. Screened from the road above, the building connects to the Tasting Room terrace via a gentle path where board-formed concrete retaining walls provide an exclusive and revealing entry.
