Chestnut Carriage House
A four-story carriage house-turned townhouse on Boston’s historic Beacon Hill was designed as a home for an artist that fully reflects her unique personality and interests. Hacin’s interdisciplinary team deployed a full scope of architecture and interior design to update the house, originally built in 1899, to showcase the client’s collection of art and antique pieces, including her own work, while creating a welcoming, livable environment.

On a short and narrow street in Montreal’s Plateau Mont-Royal neighbourhood, the Berri House is a small residential extension by Thomas Balaban Architecte that makes the most of a 130 m2 centenary carriage house and a unique urban situation.

South Cathedral Mansions
CORE was hired by CAS Riegler to provide interior design services for South Cathedral Mansions located at 2900 Connecticut Avenue, NW in Washington, DC.
Collaborating with base building architect Square 134, CORE delivered a well-rounded mix of amenity spaces at South Cathedral Mansions: repurposing the cellar as a new fitness center and spa, converting a carriage house into a poolside entertaining space, and renovating the lobby. The project is part of a historic restoration to the apartment buildings to align the property with the expectations of today’s luxury rental market.
