Wiki World Forest Store-[Wild Cabin #141] The birth of the Wiki World Forest Store stems from the ongoing natural architecture practice carried out by Wiki World. Although we have always insisted on building with the zeroprint concept and 100% timber structures, along with the birth of one wilderness home after another, there is always wood that inevitably becomes waste. Who wants to be abandoned leftover scraps? So we wondered: could waste materials be used to build a house? Could leftover scraps also have unrealistic fantasies and be turned into interesting wooden products? Therefore, we planned this building and the products inside it. Casa en Delta

The house is situated in one of the most rugged areas on the outskirts of Argentina's most densely populated urban centre, the Buenos Aires Delta. This initial juxtaposition defines the site: an access canal lies at the front of the plot, while an endless, humid willow forest stretches behind. The ground continually shifts between water and land, creating a dynamic terrain. Galgo Case 1 by BRUTO STUDIO responds to these conditions by positioning the house lengthwise, capturing the dual landscape, and maintaining a continuous relationship with the ever-changing environment. SYMOBO

This building is the new headquarters for a contractor who specializes in pre-fabricated and modular buildings. The construction consists of a steel frame with prefabricated concrete facade panels attached to it. But since the site is sandwiched in-between a busy road to the north and a housing area to the south the building becomes a janus-figure with an industrial appearance to the highway and a rather domestic appearance to the housing area. The south facade is covered with pink brickwork while the 3 other facades boast their industrial character.
