The Rago chair is a minimalist lounge chair designed based on two simple surfaces and screw-based metal connections. Despite its extremely simple form, it maintains a strong and stable structure. Instead of being bent-formed, the body is made from CNC-cut plywood, which preserves structural strength along the material’s thickness. The natural layered lines of the wood are intentionally left visible, becoming part of the chair’s visual identity. Its simple form and modular connections enable easy assembly and disassembly, enhancing portability and encouraging a participatory user experience.
