Exchange Quay Campus Totems
For several decades now, Exchange Quay has been a bold presence in Manchester’s workplace landscape. Its mirrored façades reflect both the city’s changing skyline and the dynamic businesses housed within its total of 472,000 sq ft of Grade A office space, contained within seven striking, medium-rise towers.
A defining feature of the campus has always been its huge-scale wayfinding totems. We were asked to produce 12 sets of double-sided, LED illuminated glass panels to go in bi-doors in a banqueting, conference & wedding venue. Our client said they wanted the doors to provide the "wow factor" when visitors enter the building and they are delighted with the end result. More

PRFLPS offices
The transformation of this office building has to deal with the long, narrow shape of the plan that leads to an almost forced solution. Therefore, to avoid the hallway to be dominant, the project is based on curves, transparent walls, calibrated interruptions, transforming a simple passage in a space of discovery. The dominant white, enhanced by indirect light sources, expands the spaces, compensating for the absence of openings on the north side of the building. More
