JU+ Coffee
Located in the south of Nanjing's old city, ju+ coffee is surrounded by Ming and Qing Dynasty-style houses. The store faces Shengzhou Road, which is lined with banyan trees like umbrellas, and is a five-minute walk from the Qinhuai River. Less than a hundred meters away from the store, in a narrow doorway hidden by a blue signboard next door that reads “Copper and Aluminum Materials”, there is a Qing Dynasty A-Ma Taoist temple, the Tianhou Temple.

Nanjing
The former Philips enclave Strijp-S in Eindhoven is the place where it was decided that this unique building with patently clear Chinese influences should be erected.
An effervescent place where residential, life and work go hand-in-hand, and consequently there is always something to do here.
The new pavilion in Eindhoven is a gift from the Chinese city of Nanjing. The name You Ning refers to this good city connection. “You” means friendship and “Ning” is the abbreviated name for the city of Nanjing.

Architect James McNeal started with the stair railing that connects the upper floor to the suite. The suite was tight on space, so we wanted to use details that would open up the space without eliminating any. Since the tub takes up so much space, we decided to make the tub an art and water feature - with a hand-carved dragon serving at the helm. All the detailing was custom designed by us, with granite and a pebbled tile flooring underneath the tub. We hired local artists to bring our designs to life.

Bishan Cultural and Art Center
Bishan Cultural and Art Center is located in the north of Central Park Lake, Bishan, Chongqing. It is one of the earliest projects in this area, and it is also the most important component of public service complex in Chongqing Green Island District. The County Annals of Bishan recorded that : In the past, people used to take the mountains as jade. In addition, these mountains were said to yield jade-like stones. So they called it Bishan (mountains which is made of jade). Bishan Cultural and Art Center recreates the ancient description of "Bishan" in an abstract way. It reflects the landscape of the environment. We want it to be a "place" rather than a building. In the original site, 3 massifs stand opposite to each other, and the valley bet... More
