Vraj Dental Clinic- Manjalpur
When Dr. Ujas Shah approached us for the eighth branch of the Vraj Group of Dental Clinics, we knew we weren’t just designing another medical space—we were adding to a growing brand that patients now associated with precision, care, and calm. But this one came with its own set of puzzles: a tight footprint, strict time constraints, and almost no room for civil changes.
The brief was clear: two dental chairs, a consulting desk, a reception and waiting area, and—surprisingly—a full attached toilet, all within a modest space. Oh, and we had 45 days, start to finish.

In light of a post-pandemic refocus on health & well-being in our communities, One Space’s design expertise in the preventative healthcare and medical sector has come to the fore. Our Singapore design team was engaged – alongside Scott Brownrigg and main contractor 8build – by Fullerton Health Group to design and deliver a new-concept, market-making health screening centre located at the heart of the Novena Healthcare Hub, Singapore.

Lee's internal medicine Clinic
As the hospital, which had been operating in one place for 34 years since its opening in 1988, moved to a new space ahead of a generational change, the most important thing in planning the space is to treat patients of various ages and genders, including patients who have been coming and going for a long time. It should be a space where you can feel comfortable, and I wanted it to be a hospital that anyone would want to visit in the future due to the nature of internal medicine with a wide range of users. Focusing on these two, the background of the space was organized as neatly as possible, and the warmth was added with furniture and lighting.
