Coffeebar

Located at the heart of two of the most popular tourist destinations in Berlin, Alexanderplatz and Leipziger Platz are two Italian cafés both of which where designed by Berlin architect Thomas Kröger. Both single space locations are lined by an border of trapezoidal sheeting. An open interlocking system of anodized, aluminium sheeting in brushed, warm gold projects down into the space from the ceiling. This golden construction is multiplied infinitely by the mirror covered walls. The guest room of the Leipziger Platz café is dominated by the counter.
