Casa Menta

Located in Koukaki, one of Athens' most vibrant residential neighbourhoods, Casa Menta is the renovation of a duplex apartment inspired by the colours, light and atmosphere of the Mediterranean landscape. The project began with the intention of transforming a conventional interior into a calm and contemporary living environment. Rather than introducing complexity through multiple materials and decorative elements, the design focuses on reduction. A continuous white architectural shell forms the backdrop of the apartment, reflecting natural light and creating a sense of openness throughout the two levels. PIGMENTO consists of rolled zinc alloyed with copper and titanium that complies with European standard EN 988 and the surface of which has a pre-weathering treatment upon which a transparent primer is applied, followed by a colored coating. The pre-weathering treatment applied to PIGMENTO is the same as that used for QUARTZ-ZINC. PIGMENTO® colors subtly combine the natural texture of QUARTZ-ZINC® with iridescent colours. More

Mango Hypermarket

Redefining the retail shopping experience, and organizing the layout in sequence follow people's shopping habits. Store layout begins with a series of checkout counters and product shelving/display followed by a buffer space in between. The store holds a wide range of products, produce, soft drinks, chilled produce, roastery, dairy products, food & non-food products, bakery, butchery, households, and garments on a 40,000 sqft shop floor. By strategically applying colour blocking techniques to flexibility designed spaces, design studio Masquespacio has created a uniquely student-focused atmosphere for the Resa Bilbao Student Residency in Bilbao.
