Casa Baruk Restaurant
Upon crossing the entrance of Casa Baruk in Higienópolis, São Paulo, the architecture reveals a dialogue between traditions. The spatial sequence guides visitors through an immersive experience, where the perception of the space expands almost tangibly, resonating even in the flavors that reach the table.
The new venture is part of the Baruk, a group of restaurants founded by Gustavo and Denise Batistel, who have been active in São Paulo’s culinary scene for over a decade, specializing in Arab cuisine, with established locations in neighborhoods such as Vila Olímpia and Itaim Bibi. Vedica Scholar's Programme
The office space for Vedica Scholar’s Program for women, situated in the lush campus of Sri Aurobindo Center for Arts and Communications, New Delhi was conceived as an intervention to re-imagine the existing structure with a contemporary character. The project spreads over an expanse of 10,800 sqft area, including both interior and exterior spaces. The 1600 sft, interior built up area is programmed to accommodate 30 workstations, 1 quiet room, 1 enclosed office space, 1 conference area and a small pantry. Nur Commercial Building
Nur commercial project is located on a 790-square-meter land near the main road of Noor city between the sea and the Sisangan jungle. Considering the accessibility and landscape The land has special situation. The client request was to establish a recreational/commercial hub on this land. According to the subject of the project, the typology of Iranian BAZAR was studied. In these studies, the design team emphasized on two issues. The first issue was Iranian traditional bazar program and the other one was Iranian bazaar voids/in between spaces. The 4 storey building required a major renovation. The services had totally collapsed because of water ingress which affected the structure of the building.
The renovation aimed at changing plumbing, electrical services, recasting of second floor roof slab, relaying of staircase as well as reinforcing of structure.
The renovated building has new facade as balcony and louvers were added to protect from western Sun. Full height windows were provided on rear back (North) side.
