The master plan—developed by our colleagues at Shibukawa Eder Architects—forms the overarching framework for the Hirschfeld area. Based on the zoning plan, the property on Gerasdorfer Straße is divided into four building plots. These, in turn, are clearly zoned into two areas with different requirements – the noisier southern zone on the busy road and the quieter northern zone, adjacent to the forest area along Sowinetzgasse. The collaboration and empathy between architecture and gastronomy were born intangible from its conception, marking common values; the countryside, honesty, humility, and simplicity of the raw materials, the craftsmanship, and the warmth of home. Local integration and global coherence propose the luxury of its spatial quality and the atmosphere it offers. A space that is free of pretensions and unnecessary ornaments and coatings. The project was a collaboration of architects, designers, landscapers, illuminators, artists, artisans, cooks, ceramists, and photographers, all of Mexican origin.

Snøhetta completes a curving design for Polestar’s Chengdu production facilities
A new production facility for electric car producer Polestar, this latest project from Snøhetta is a bright, spacious and open building that brings together employees, clients and visitors. Environmentally friendly measures such as outdoor spaces and generous amounts of light inform the design along with energy-efficient solutions to ventilation and water usage.
