Bumusa Residential: Zir-o-Roo
If we consider the city as the realization of civil society, its continued vitality depends on the presence of urban centers, public spaces, and efficient communication and facilities. Zir-o-Roo is not merely a residential project; rather, it is an effort to sustain life within a residential complex located on an island with limited urban infrastructure and a harsh climate.

As a result of the shifting layers of the building, two distinct spatial conditions have emerged: a lower space—covered, semi-open, shaded, and cooler—and an upper space—stepped and suspended above. The repetition of this configuration and the arrangement of these layers opposite each other define the overall structure o... More

Ronald McDonald House Manitoba
Nestled on the corner of a mature, tree-lined neighbourhood—and a ten-minute walk from the city’s main pediatric health facility—is the new Ronald McDonald House Manitoba (RMHMB). For over 49 years, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) has provided families with children requiring hospital care a safe respite during one of life’s most challenging events.
The concept of a home away from home and the holistic health and well-being of the guest families, staff, and volunteers guided the form and function of our design for the new house. When families stay at RMHMB, it should evoke feelings of serenity, security, and stimulation—similar emotions that derive from being in the comfort of your home—underscore... More

Egehaven Senior Housing Community
In Egedal Municipality, the construction of the new district Egedal City with 3,000 future homes is well underway. 67 of them will be built in the senior living community Egehaven, which will be built on a 7,300 m² plot of land next to the common outdoor space ‘The Green Loop’. LINK Arkitektur has designed the winning project for the senior living community. Egehaven is aimed at singles and couples on their way into the 3rd age, who dream of a home with the opportunity to continue an active life together with others. The homes are aimed at two age groups, 55-65-year-olds and 65-75-year-olds. This ensures a mixed makeup of residents. Residents will have their own apartments with access to facilities that create an envir... More

JUWO NEULEO
The entry point into the gasworks area in Neu Leopoldau is formed by a prominent gateway situation. Starting from the old building, an internal road connects the three building sites (G1, G2 and G3) to the square in front of the Gasmesserhaus. All entrances and common rooms are located at this internal connection.

The square in front of the Gasmesserhaus is to be given a generous character with its use as an exhibition space. It is drawn under the house in the form of a 2-story arcade, from there the two entrances of the house G3 are accessible. This space also forms the access to the two-story common room, which is connected to the traditional laundry room by an internal staircase.
