Hungexpo interior design Hungexpo Zrt.’s permanent exhibition area, the Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre, has undergone a revitalisation from 2019 to 2021. In a 2013 market consultation procedure by the Eindhoven municipal council, DELA was selected as the most appropriate candidate for the redevelopment of the Mariënhage area. This location, originally an Augustinian monastery, borders on the city center of Eindhoven. It is literally the historic center around which the city has been established. Mariënhage consists of five national monuments, of which the Augustinian church and the former Augustinianum with its Student Chapel are the core. The project is situated in a green area outside the city center, in an alpine landscape featured by well recognizable natural and anthropic signs. Although positioned outside the urban settlement, it has a strong strategic nature and it’s well connected to the public network (schools, leisure centers, infrastructures).The building hosts several different functions, like get-together activities for the local community, shows and entertainment. It will be used for concerts, theatrical performances, conventions, conferences, art exhibitions and expos. ExpoForum International is the largest trade-fair and meeting centre in North-Western Russia. Spread over a total area of 50 hectares, it was first opened in 2014, with three pavilions for a total covered surface of 40,000 m², a congress centre, two hotels, a business centre, car park and custom facilities and other important services.
