This classic flat profile, known as French roof tile, has two curved lines as a barrel-pan effect and together with its installation in staggered formation (joints “heringborne” fashion) facilitates water drainage.

TB-12 ceramic roof tile | Red
TB-12 roof tile is the classic S-Interlocking format by Tejas Borja as one piece high profile roof tile, with multiple discontinuous, especially designed for the tight assembly of the parts aligned in vertical rows and horizontal courses.
With 12 units per sq.m. TB-12 roof tiles are currently the S-interlocking roof tiles most used in residential buildings.
Courtesy of their aesthetic and architectural versatility, S-Interlocking roof tiles are the most commonly used roof tiles across all five continents.
TB-12 roof tile is also available in BorjaBLANC ( selection of special white clay). Ideal for the Mediterranean climate.

The Magic Mushroom Story
Conception
To decrease Urban Heat Island Effect we have decided to combine several methods. Surfaces that reflect and refract sunbeams, green roofs, formation of artificial air currents are used simultaneously in this project. At the same time, the project is easy to be realized, its implementation doesn’t need significant material costs, developed constructions don't occupy much space.
To transform the location into the place comfortable for people and to eliminate Urban Heat Island Effect we propose to set on its territory three types of easy metal constructions in the shape of mushrooms:
