A playful game between cubic volumes created a simple design proposal, strict on the exterior and soft on the interior. Putting these contrasts in balance, the hard geometric surfaces creating an envelope for the house, create a statement of a modern building translated through forms, materials, and colors. Dell asked us to design a cube without metal posts. The ceiling and floor are illuminated across the entire surface. In addition, the glass walls function as a projection screen visible from inside and outside the cube. On the inside of the glass walls, there is an installed tracking-device for interactive pens. Therefore, the Dell Cube is an illuminated whiteboard that is used by the employees during e.g. brain-storming sessions. More

A real estate company’s corporate headquarters, located at the city’s highest traffic entrance, brings clarity and conciseness and acts as a new landmark to a transitioning industrial area within an emerging district. The projects main ambition was to create an authentic example of “Built Identity” within the context of a seven-story building, incorporating the client’s logo icon throughout the building elevation. The project name, CUBEND, translates firm values by unifying the words “cube,” relating to wholeness and persistence, plus “bend,” standing for movement and dynamics. IT Un cubo di vetro attorno a cui si definiscono gli ambienti è il fulcro del nuovo progetto di Noses. In esso si nascondono gli spazi necessari alle attività quotidiani tipiche di un ecosistema familiare: cucina, bagno, ma anche armadi e librerie. Il cubo annuncia la sua presenza imperante nell'appartamento attraverso il suo colore scuro, ma, allo stesso tempo, si dissimula riflettendo sulle sue superfici gli altri elementi d'arredo. Fa da padrone il legno che, caldo ed accogliente, riveste pavimento e soffitto restituendo allo spazio un temperamento naturale.
