MTVARYSA: A Villa That Doesn't Simply Stand on Pag—It Emerges from It
Nature on the island of Pag is never merely a backdrop. It is the central protagonist of every story this remarkable landscape tells. Stone, the bora wind, the sun, and the sea come together to shape a setting so distinctive that it is almost impossible to compare it with any other part of the Croatian coast. This extraordinary environment became the starting point for MTVARYSA, a contemporary villa in Novalja designed by architect Sanja Vrančić and her studio, SANJA VRANČIĆ ARCHITECTS.

Chinese Opera Theatre Reception Revamp
In the revamp of the public areas of Ko Shan Theatre in Hong Kong, HIR seeks to create vibrant spatial experience with a refreshing dash to rejuvenate the overall mood of the Chinese Opera performing venue. It involves a complete enhancement of the ticket office, reception counter, and the cloak room respectively to cater for the daily uses of local citizens in the neighbourhood.
The design of the new amenities took inspiration from the dynamic and majestic rotational movement of the Cantonese opera performers: Circular swirls and fluidic curves. Stratified into horizontal ribbon-like bands, the counters are sculpted volumetrically with in-and-outs, cladded in aluminium panels that bend sinuously to shape the recesses for disabled as well...
